The bay arab mare trotted down the trail in the forest, her two foals following her. One, a small black bay filly with a star on her forehead, just like her mother. The other was a dark bay colt, with no marking, like his father. As she trotted, they trailed behind her, their long legs keeping up. She found a small clearing with lush green grass, and stopped, grazing.

"I thought you wanted to go swimming? I would help you!" He cantered after them.

She looked up, and laughed softly. 'I figured i'd wait until these two fell asleep. Then i'd swim where i could still see them in the cave." she said. The foals raced around, energetically playing tag.

(I decided the filly was Starlight and the colt was Moonlight, haha )

"No we'll ALL go now!" He lead the way back to the cove and splashed into the water and looked back to see if they were following.

She rolled her eyes, and called to her foals. She cantered back up the trail, emerging onto the dunes. She trotted into the cool ocean water, her foals following cautiously. She closed her eyes as the cold water lapped over her back.

He watched the foals' wade in deeper. He waded into the water with them making sure nothing happened.

Lady Luck glanced back at them, flicking one ear. She flicked her head under the surface, sending water rippling over her face and neck. She snorted, sending the water away from her nsotril, and then turned, wading shallower so the water was just to her chest.

Shaton urged the foals' to do the same. He stood in the water though,trudging deep he started swimming and he whent under,coming back up he cleared out his nostrils' and swam back to Lucky and Moonlight and the other foal (forgot name XD).

Lady Luck watched him, and then slowly waded til it was knee-high. Then she lay down, letting the water cover her body, sighing.

He let the foals' lay above her so they could enjoy the water too. When they were comfortable,he took a place beside her.

She sighed, blinking at him. When he lay down, she lay her head on his side so she wouldn't inhale water. "Finally.' she smiled, as the sounds of the waves filled her ears. "We live on a beach, but this is the first time i've gone swimming.

She lifted her head and rolled so she could stand. She trotted out, onto the sad, and shook her coat dry. Then she trotted over the dunes and into the closest field, grazing on the knee-high flowers. Her foals didn't need to nurse as often, and if they got hungry they'd find her.

Shaton urged the colt and filly into the dunes,they looked tired. He trotted towards Lucky. "Is something wrong?"

She looked up. "No, not at all.' she reassured him, flicking her tail gently. "Why?"
